Connection and disconnection of utilities
It is important to arrange for your utilities, such as gas, electricity, telephone and internet services, to be connected in your name for your new home and disconnected in your existing residence. We recommend that you arrange this at least 4-5 days prior to your moving date. Remember to ensure that electricity remains connected for the final inspection of your existing residence.
There are many choices when it comes to the provision of these utilities, so do your research to find the rates and package that best suit your needs.
Move Me In provide a free, no-obligation service to take care of all of your calls and arrangements for connection and disconnection of utilities, to give you back time in your busy day. You can still choose your preferred utility retailer and the date on which services will be connected and/or disconnected and there is no extra cost to you.
